Nic is a small town rural native from Upland, Nebraska. He grew up in a rural community where his father, Craig, farms and his mother, Renee, is a nurse practitioner. He has great pride in being raised in a small town and still cherishes the hard work ethic and values that were instilled in him throughout his life.
He graduated from Minden High School and then went on to college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he pursued an Agribusiness degree. He values the life-long friendships that were created that continue to nurture as life goes on. Nic thrives off relationships and will jump at any opportunity to see an old friend from college or spend a weekend with his family.
He thoroughly enjoys concerts, whether it be his favorite performer, Eric Church or a rock n roll legend like Bob Seger. His other passions include hunting and fishing across the United States. His favorite hunting is turkeys in the spring and enjoys wetting a fly line in a stream or salt water fishing with friends and relatives in the Carolina’s. Nic also frequents back to his roots in south central Nebraska to visit his friends and family whether it be for work or pleasure.
Every fall, Nic takes some time away from his practice to help friends and family with the harvest. He jokes how he’s probably one of the few that wears a suit or slacks every day but can also drive a semi. He keeps a great relationship with his three siblings; Ben, Chris, and Elizabeth.
Two of the three pursued medical careers, and the other is following the footsteps of their father. In Lincoln, Nic has been an active supporter of Junior Achievement, FOCUS Campus Missionaries, St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center, and City Mission.
